Can a profitable web site be run from scratch by a beginner! Yes! The most important thing to remember about running any type of venture is that you must work hard, plan, and stay focused on your goals and dreams. That is what I do at Money-At-Home.Com, and I can tell you that this web site truly makes money just about everyday! When I write these weekly web site tips you better believe I am taking my own advice. I went from less than 50 hits per day to hundreds of hits per day. All from applying the same advice you have been getting from me over the past weeks. Now my goal is to achieve thousands of hits per day in the near future. And I will. I strongly suggest that if you want to be in my position to go back and read my past tips. They work.
Let me tell you a little more about me. My name is Andrea Taylor, I am 35 years old (Actually, I will be turning 35 April, 18th, I feel like I am 25! I act it too at times!). I decided to buy a computer early in 1998 for the sole purpose of starting my own web site about making money at home. Guess what? I had only been on the Internet about two or three times in my life. And I knew absolutely nothing about computers at all. But I did not let that stop me. I started checking around for the best deal on a new computer system to meet my particular need, after I found a great deal, I bought a new computer in January 1998. We got it home, hooked it up, I immediately looked for the best deal on Internet access and signed up. I was excited, I had a new computer, and I was on the Internet. So than I had to get familiar with it, it took a couple of months to do that. Than I sort of got burned out with the Internet, and stayed off the computer until about May of 1998. Than my dream to build a web site overtook me again, I had a burning desire to go for it and build a web site from scratch. But guess what? I did not know how! As you could imagine, I did not let that stop me either. I searched for the best product around that could help me build a web site, and I found what I still use and love: FrontPage 98! From there my dream began. I started Money-At-Home.Com June 24th, 1998. Now I am taking on the more established webmasters in the home business related market and winning. I did it all from scratch and on a shoestring budget. Like I said previously, Money-At-Home.Com makes money nearly every single day now, but I was not an overnight success. And I have much more to accomplish and achieve at this web site. My dreams and aspirations is what keeps me motivated to continue on at this site. Also, belief in myself, and of course faith. Here are a few keys to my success so far that may help you:
Believe in what you are doing
Provide valuable information and resources
Stay determined, even through the bad times
Treat your visitors and customers fairly and with respect
Keep your web site updated
Promote your web site daily
Stay attuned to the type of information or products your web site visitors want
